Kevin has been an absolute gem and a life saver! I have had two ‘mother of the bride’ outfits created especially for me and for quite different wedding conditions. Kevin instinctively knew which outfit would suit me best and would fit the situation. My son got married in the beautiful Sicilian countryside, under the olive trees. My dress was beautiful and I felt so happy, confident and comfortable! My daughter got married in Brisbane, and again Kevin instantly identified the most amazing outfit. I needed a bit of convincing about the colour of the hot pink jacket, but he was right and I get to be able to wear the outfits for lots of other occasions. Thank you Kevin – you are a marvel!

Kevin helped me with the “Mother of the Groom” dress for my son’s wedding. I was their something “blue” so had the task of finding an outfit that would suit my figure, the shade of blue would match my skin tone, and I also had some health challenges that needed to be taken into consideration for the long wedding day. Kevin was incredibly patient and understanding. I was very overwhelmed with trying to find an outfit that would make me feel beautiful on such a momentous occasion. He was shocked when I said I didn’t want to look like an “old lady or frumpy” or wear something unflattering. He informed me with a laugh that I could never be frumpy, and he was here to help. It was his business to make me feel fabulous.

I discussed with Kevin my ideas of what I had in mind, and he certainly delivered. The look that we achieved together was exactly what I had envisaged. The dress and bolero jacket were a perfect fit, receiving never ending compliments throughout the day, especially with the colour and the style. I originally said to Kevin that I wanted to feel elegant, with a nod to the Audrey Hepburn era. Kevin certainly delivered.

With the reassurance that with Kevin's craftsmanship, they could meet my ridiculous timeframes (a little over a week) which they did and some ideas with accessorising, what had been months of futile and increasingly stressful searching was ended in a fun, no drama conclusion and on the day, I felt amazing and confident in myself. I just wish I had more opportunities to wear the dress!

Thank you for designing and making such a beautiful outfit for my daughter’s wedding in April 2024.

I came to you because I had a friend who had you make a dress for her daughter’s wedding in Spain. My friend is a wonderful seamstress and I thought if she was delighted it was worth me meeting up with you.

You made the process so enjoyable, you really made the experience stress free and nothing was ever too much trouble - even providing with the perfect shoes and handbag. You were responsive and flexible - however gently steering me away from what I thought I’d wear - which would have been in retrospect dowdy and uninteresting!

I felt absolutely fabulous in my outfit and received so many compliments I was thrilled!

My older daughter is being married in December 2025 and I have no doubt you’ll work your magic and make me feel and look fabulous! Thank you Kevin I am very pleased I popped down your driveway to meet with you last year!

Kevin has made me at least 3 special occasion outfits. I have been delighted with them all. Always good to know you're not going to bump into someone wearing the same thing! Along the way Kevin has suggested options that I wouldn't have thought about but they have become key pieces in my wardrobe. Communication is easy and Kevin is always happy to courier items. If you need an outfit for any special occasion I will highly recommend Kevin Moore Design. My son's wedding was held recently in Queenstown with the theme being "Ascot", so of course we must dress in style, ladies elegantly includihng hates, and men with top hats and tails. After looking at number of different design outlets, I was delighted to be recommended to Kevin Moore Design. Kevin is not only a great designer, he was also very helpful in offering different options to suit my figure (I am not a Rachel Hunter!), colours to suit me, and a range of hats, as well as other accessories. His delightful personality had me and my daughters laughing and relaxed. Kevin produced the most amazing outfit for me, fitted and lined, suited my figure, and an equally amazing hat! I felt like the "Belle of the Ball"! In my opinion, Kevin is a highly experienced designer and I would recommend him to you without hesitation.

I was to be the 'Mother of the Groom'. I was taken in hand by friends who took me to every clothes shop in Newmarket and the Eastern suburbs. The dresses were too young, too casual, too short, too long... Finally a friend found an advert in the Herald for Kevin Moore. As a last ditch effort we turned up. He provided me with an honest assessment of what would suit and I was measured and styled accordingly. I received more than my share of compliments that day and was very pleased with the dress and jacket he made. The material was beautiful and it was stylish and chic. A year or so later I had my own wedding. I had traipsed around Melbourne, looked through magazines to outfit the "mature bride". I was after something that fitted with age and occassion. Again I returned to Kevin and the dress and jacket he made for me were just perfect! I could not recommend him more highly. If you want to be the "Belle of your Ball" see him. Be prepared for the honest critique.

I contacted Kevin after seeing his advertisement in the Canvas magazine. He was the most affable character you could ever wish to meet and his talent for dress design matches his colourful, adventurous personality. He managed to talk me in to colour and design that I probably wouldn't have been brave enough to wear. Three outfits later would be a testament for his ability for me as I am the fussiest and most annoying client a poor dress designer could ever wish for. Thank you Kevin for getting me out there!

After visiting many places looking for Mother of the Bride outfits, I was starting to feel desperate as everything I tried on felt ordinary. I visited Kevin Moore Design and on seeing all the beautiful fabrics I thought, "Surely there must be something here!" YES I had hit the Jackpot. I loved the way Kevin was so helpful and honest.
