I wanted a Dress for my daughter’s wedding. I wanted it to be modern but fitting for my age of 69. I came across Kevin’s website and saw a dress I really liked. I was a bit worried it might be too young for me but Kevin assured me it wasn’t and if anything he said it will make me look younger because it is a classic dress and classic dresses can make you look younger also it will last for years. Living in Christchurch was no problem to Kevin, we just communicated by phone and texting, the dress was couriered to me over night. I found Kevin to have a great sense of humour, he certainly knows women’s fashion and how to make you feel good about yourself. I wouldn’t hesitate in using Kevin again.

After checking numerous dress shops for a special outfit to wear for an official Investiture award ceremony and finding only ‘fits- all’s’, I checked out Kevin’s website after seeing his advertisement in the NZ Herald Canvas weekend magazine. I was very pleased I did. The testimonials from his clients are absolutely correct. Kevin’s friendliness immediately put me at ease. His showroom was a treasure trove of delightful garments and after listening to what was required, he selected a beautiful Italian silk embroidered dress with matching jacket which was classic, comfortable and simply exquisite! Kevin recommended shoe retailers and advised on the most complementary shoes. He also recommended and supplied from his range, jewellery and an appropriate clutch purse to complete the total look. His professionalism and eye for detail resulted in a stunning ensemble which gave me a feeling of confidence for that special day to remember. Thank you Kevin!

It was my pleasure last year to meet Kevin Moore at his Auckland show room. I was recommended to see Kevin by another Dunedinite who had been dressed by Kevin for her daughter’s wedding and was delighted with the result. Upon arriving I got to try on many outfits but in the end went back to the first one I tried on and from there Kevin worked his magic and had this fitting like a glove and delivered to my door in Dunedin. I contacted Kevin after seeing his advertisement in the Canvas magazine. He was the most affable character you could ever wish to meet and his talent for dress design matches his colourful, adventurous personality. He managed to talk me into colour and design that I probably wouldn't have been brave enough to wear. Three outfits later would be a testament for his ability for me as I am the fussiest and most annoying client a poor dress designer could ever wish for. Thank you Kevin for getting me out there!

After visiting many places looking for Mother of the Bride outfits, I was starting to feel desperate as everything I tried on felt ordinary. I visited Kevin Moore Design and on seeing all the beautiful fabrics I thought, “Surely there must be something here!” YES I had hit the Jackpot. I loved the way Kevin was so helpful and honest. I also loved the one stop shop as Kevin also had a selection of earrings and bracelet to finish off the outfit. I felt wonderful wearing my outfit on the day of the wedding. I was to be the ‘Mother of the Groom'. I was taken in hand by friends who took me to every clothes shop in Newmarket and the Eastern suburbs. The dresses were too young, too casual, too short, too long… Finally a friend found an advert in the Herald for Kevin Moore. As a last ditch effort we turned up. He provided me with an honest assessment of what would suit and I was measured and styled accordingly. I received more than my share of compliments that day and was very pleased with the dress and jacket he made. The material was beautiful and it was stylish and chic. A year or so later I had my own wedding. I had traipsed around Melbourne, looked through magazines to outfit the "mature bride". I was after something that fitted with age and occasion. Again I returned to Kevin and the dress and jacket he made for me were just perfect! I could not recommend him more highly. If you want to be the belle of your ball see him. Be prepared for the honest critique.
